Uba Pacific Pays Burna Boy to acquire marketing rights for his Album

Burna Boy & his record label, Aristokrat
Records are dancing Azonto and
Skelewu to the bank after they reportedly
sold the marketing rights for Burna’s
debut album to popular Alaba marketer
Uba Pacific for a fee of N10million.
For some time now, marketers in Alaba
have stopped paying artistes to secure
marketing rights of their albums. They
now prefer to split the royalties made
from the sales of albums
According to reports, Burna Boy ’s album
has been selling so fast that it has
allayed the fears of UBA Pacific who was
sceptical on paying such a huge amount
for a new act. He reportedly sold 40,000
copies on the first day. I'm even a
witness to that when I went to buy my
copy of Burna Boy's album ten copies
were sold within a minute.
