The award will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2013
at Intercontinental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. The
nominees will be unveiled on September 7, 2013 at
The African Bar of The Oriental Hotel , Lekki.
The movie awards show which debuted in June 2012
will add six new categories: Best Short Movie, Best
Child Actor, Best Soundtrack, Best Set Design, Top Box
Office Movie and Best Diaspora Movie.
“We plan to make this year’s award show bigger and
better”, Executive Director, Alfred Soro says.
The last time we saw Dakore and Basketmouth on
stage together was at the 2008 edition of The Headies
(known then as HipHopWorld Award).
