The Beckhams sell Beckingham Palace for £12m,upgrades to $45 million london home

The Beckhams have reportedly
sold their 12-acre Hertfordshire
estate, dubbed Beckingham
Palace, for £12m.

The sale of the home, which
Victoria once described likened
to "a tart's boudoir", is thought
to be part of a new phase for
the family, as they have their
sights set on a luxury £45m
home in central London.
"David in particular was
desperately sad to sell the
family home as there are so
many memories there. They
have had years of happiness in
the home, but practically now
there is no need to keep it," a
source revealed.

The pair originally bought the
house in 1999 for £2.5m, but
the family have spent little time
there since re-locating to LA.
The family are thought to want
a four-storey home in West
London and have enlisted the
help of their friend Kelly
Hoppen to help out with the
interiors.
Neither Victoria nor David's
reps have commented on the
reports.
